Welcome to Downpatrick Methodist Church. We are a small friendly family of Christians, trying to share the love of Christ in our community.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors or new members to our Sunday service which begins at 11.30am. It has a simple form, in the Methodist tradition, and children are welcome. Little ones can be accommodated in a room with play and craft facilities during the sermon, if so desired.
Visitors and friends are always welcome to our mid-week Bible study and fellowship meeting, or to other events in Downpatrick church or our sister churches in Newcastle and Dundrum.
Our church is in Scotch Street, near the centre of our historic town, on the road to Saul, where St Patrick traditionally established the first church of his mission to Ireland in the fifth century AD. We joyfully share this inheritance with all our Christian neighbours.
